When testing comes, it test how rooted you are in God. If you don’t know how to use all the information we have, we will misuse things.
The purpose is more important that what you do. The small goals help achieve the ultimate goal.
Most of us are situation-driven Christians.

For you to grow spiritually, you need to have faith in the knowledge of Jesus Christ
You can be a believer but ignorant of the word of God. Such believers are pathetic

Greek word for confidence = Parresia = boldness
When we throw away our confidence, we become timid

Confidence becomes our shield of faith. When you don’t have the spiritual shield of faith, it leaves a hole and we become discouraged
Hope = feeling of expectations
Hope biblically = confident expectations

Greek word for substance is Hypostasis = that which has foundation, is firm, that which has actual existence, a substance, real being

When intensity grows, you are close to your victory

We can become prisoners of fear instead of prisoner of hope, prisoner of doubt, anxiety etc. But God wants us to be prisoners of hope not of fear.

Ways to find hope when everything looks hopeless
1. Rely on God’s presence:
God is doing a redemption within us
Through your suffering God is doing a redemption within you and shaping your character

Blessed are the ones whose transgressions are forgiven whose sins are covered
God’s love is not based on circumstances, it’s based on the cross of Calvary

2. Rely on God’s provision:

God doesn’t give you all that you want, he gives you all that you need.

God will never let any hurt or disappointment go to waste

In our weaknesses God’s strength is made perfect and it will rest upon us

When you read the word of God you are protected.

Cry out to God but never disrespect him. The impotent man spoke to Jesus with respect although he had been suffering before Jesus was born.
Jesus asked the impotent man if he wanted to be healed because the man may have lost hope from waiting for man to put him into the pool.
(John 5:8) Jesus told the man to take up his bed and walk because he healed the man physically and mentally.
(John 5:14) Jesus went to the man and told him to follow Jesus and get to know him because he has received the healing touch.
Follow your healer get to know him and spread the word of his miracles
